It claims that the number of community colleges has collapsed (nope!), and I'm not dignifying it with a link. But IPEDS classifies institutions with a few bachelor's programs as four-years.

I need to write a blog post on this sometime. IPEDS and Carnegie classifications aren't helpful in separating four-year and two-year colleges. Novice analysts and people looking for quick PR just don't know that.
