Here's an estimated run cost of Roblox Forum comparing each software.. Overtime XF shows signs of being cheaper but has the steep initial cost (Discourse doesn't count if we would need to upgrade VPS) (XenForo doesn't count for optional yearly renewal fee of $60)

Never used Discourse but used to run forums way way back. Is vBulletin no longer a thing? (Sorry if it dates me)
