Lan Wangji is a librarian who runs a children's reading group on Saturday afternoons, one day a shy little boy attends and Lan Wangji does his best to bring him out of his shell. Without them Katsuki's pulled through a warp gate by Magne's Quirk and he's captured by the Villains once more. At first he's angry, hateful and furious, but as the rest of the world turns on him and the Heroes seem to forget, Katsuki begins to embrace his new life amongst the Villains and starts to consider becoming one.
Katsuki could hear some rustling inside and the sound of footsteps before the door he was leaning on suddenly opened and he almost fell inside. He grabbed the door frame at the last second to save himself. The so called witch stood in front of him, and for a moment all Katsuki could do was stare. He had wild, curly green hair with a splattering of freckles across his cheeks and nose, and he had the greenest, prettiest eyes Katsuki had ever seen. “Are you drunk?” the witch asked. “No,” Katsuki said. “I am quite injured, and the tavernkeeper said you were the village healer.” Katsuki tried to remember everything his mother had taught him about being polite, but he was feeling so floaty and light-headed, he couldn’t really remember. The beauty in front of him had gone all blurry and Katsuki blinked owlishly at him. “Injured how?” the witch asked, looking him up and down, Katsuki had pulled his furs tight around him, so the witch couldn’t see his gaping wounds. “I think there was an axe involved,” Katsuki said as black spots appeared in front of his eyes. “An axe?” the witch asked, but before Katsuki could reply he was falling forward once again, losing consciousness before his head hit the ground.

Painted as a villain, he does his best to keep pushiing forward and rising in the rankings until he can't anymore. His only respite is his husband, his Eijirou. But Katsuki knows if the media find out about them, they'll drag him down. Stuck in a constant spiral of media harrassment and self-hatred, Katsuki doesn't know what to do.

Eijirou’s inner Alpha had been unsettled all day, and hearing his mate was in trouble was like a shot of adrenaline directly in his veins. He rushed there as fast as he could, running as fast as he could. He’d just felt off all day, he’d been worried about his husband for no real reason and now he felt entirely validated in his paranoia. He reached 7th street at record speed and his heart broke when he did. The reporters had seemingly been pushed back, the police holding them there. There were a series of small fires in the city square. Tetsutetsu was on his knees, his Quirk active as he was in front of Katsuki. Katsuki himself was on the ground, curled up in a ball, sobbing. Eijirou stepped forwards, but he was immediately stopped by the police. “Sir, this is a secured scene,” the officer said. “That’s my mate,” Eijirou said. The nearby media gasped and began talking amongst themselves but Eijirou didn’t care. He pushed past the police and went towards Katsuki. “Be careful, man,” Tetsutetsu said. “He doesn’t recognise me.” “He’s my Omega, he’ll know me,” Eijirou said. He walked towards Katsuki, who let out a low growl. His palms crackled and explosions sparked across his skin. Eijirou chirruped at him, making Katsuki’s growl cut off abruptly. “Katsuki,” Eijirou said. “Eiji?” Katsuki whispered. “It’s me, Kat, it’s me,” Eijirou said. “Alpha.”
