There is no "rehabilitation" of my lifelong party's image. That's like saying "we can rehabilitate physical death." The Democratic Party needs to either be (1) open to everyone under its long-boasted vision of "the Big Tent" (aka, stop demonizing the DSA), OR (2) nuked into extinction. So be it.
