Emerging from the deep forest, a male Lohuecotitan pandafilandi leads his flock through the underbrush under the early start of a cold Mesozoic Morning. Other smaller animals scramble to move out of the way of such ecosystem shifters, running from underfoot of their people sized legs or choosing to hide by the trunks of the only thing taller than these windmill sized giants.

A Medieval Mania filled with a horde of Dragons flying overhead as a Wizard stands ontop his tower perhaps guiding the fury of fire breathers? 3. A Tiktaalik taking its first steps out of the primordial soup and onto new opportunities. 4. A fossil bed chalk full of different fragments of different organisms across the ages, Ammonites, Ceratosaurus, Ichtyosaurus, Trilobites, Brontosaurus, all pieces of once greater times now lay bare.

Several million years ago, 458 to be exact. We witness the early unfolding of life within an early reef. Swimming overhead with it's prey freshly torn from its shell, a eurypterid has managed to prey upon a small nautiloid. Swimming away after being spooked by the predatory arthropods arrival, the jawless fish Sacabambaspis is eager to make a good amount of distance between itself and the current scene before other predators show up smelling the remains of the altercation. #Sciart #sculpture #paleoart #paleontology #ordovician
