It’s incredibly disheartening to witness #Adobe 's sudden announcement to discontinue Animate with no regard for all the projects made possible by this software, and we truly hope that this is not a final decision.

Don't know why, but more than a "Animate was the last legacy of Flash and since Flash is dead, Animate would die eventually too because of new animation technologies"... I feel this is more related to genAI. 2D vector drawing > just ask to Firefly (or whatever else Adobe use) to animate it.
