I grew a beard from January to March because my drain stopper broke. The sides never really came in, so I shaved it but I took this terrible handlebar moustache photo halfway through.

Dear Senator Cruz, I’m writing after reading that much of the staff of the Institute of Museums and Library Services have been put on administrative leave. As your constituent, I’d like to tell you about what the Georgetown Library offers our small Texas city. Of course, there’s what everyone thinks of when they think of the library: the books. The Georgetown Library has a great selection of physical books, but also offers ebooks and audiobooks, which readers can borrow from the comfort of their own home. The Georgetown Library loans out other physical materials as well: book club kits, experience kits for kids with things like instruments, and DVDs. The digital offerings are phenomenal, too. I used Mango Languages to learn to speak Malayalam before my trip to India two years ago.
