A view of a city street in Venice, Italy. There are no cars, because there are no cars in Venice. The pavers are damp and reflecting the late afternoon light. People mill about between buildings that are hundreds of years old. A modern set of chairs and tables are set up outside of what must be a small restaurant. It's a striking mix of old and new.

A couple of female elephants in an enclosure so big you can’t see the walls from here. There are seven other elephants elsewhere, out of frame. The sky is clear and blue, the midday sun seeing, and the elephant in the foreground appears to be waving her trunk in a friendly manner.

A beach scene. Taken from the point at which the water washes up on the sand. The latest wave is receding. More waves are making their way in, but in a non threatening way. To your right is the ocean, and to the left is the beach and shoreside cliffs. There are other people on the beach, walking, not lounging. It is not crowded. The sky is slightly hazy with a few low clouds that haven't burnt away yet in the morning sun.
