It’s a pretty big deal that they’re overruling Congress-which has the power as stated in the amendment- in order to do this. They’re stripping the power from the people.
Safe to say that anything remotely related to democracy will be ignored, overturned, or shat on. And until enough of it is, the regime will be strategically exploiting its remains against us. This regime never wanted rightward reform of democracy. They want it gone & are acting as if it already is.
even if you were going to "nuance" the 15th amendment the burden of proof to show you're not discriminating should be HUGE. Not the other way around. Also, if you are literally diluting black votes, you are discriminating. To pretend it's neutral means your an idiot or a monster.
What is on paper and what is reality are 2 different things. jefferson wrote all men are created equal while owning hundreds of slaves.
Imagine where we'd be today if the 15th used the classic phrase "shall not be infringed"

One obvious issue with their "it's politics not race" argument: A party could declare that it was going to strip one race of all property. Members of that race would then begin to vote en masse against that party. The party could then gerrymander them out of relevance, b/c it would be political.
Especially that second part. The Jim Crow Court ignores the Constitution. It's a very corrupt SCOTUS.
Seems like Congress has the right to change this court decision.
