I pull for the guy because I empathize with him for all the abuse he's endured from a win-conscious society. He's been one of the greatest achievers the sports world has ever known, yet Wilt seldom has been appreciated for all the talents he possesses. Let's face it, how many times have you praised Chamberlain for what he's accomplished? Hasn't it always been a case of "Why hasn't he done more?" or "He's good, all right, but he's not a winner." People have been too quick to condemn Wilt as a loser, conveninetly forgetting to laud him as a man with tremendous character and ability.
