There is a "Temptation" roll table, wherein you first get a result from an arcane formula only partially displayed on the page. Then it seems you roll percentile dice, and the results of those together determine whether the target "accepts with alacrity", "accepts", "accepts if offered more", "rejects", or "rejects with indignation". Piece of cake.
Questioning the leader This occurs when a character calls into question any decision or order given by the party leader. The procedure is again by appeal to the party, with questioner and leader each having 40 seconds' real time to put their case. Total leadership factors of supporting party members: there is no requirement here for a 10 per cent difference. No party member with a leadership more than 8 points lower than that of the leader may question him, except as the result of a temptation or morale test. Members not wishing to resort to an open appeal may of course put their case privately to the leader and attempt to persuade him to reverse his decision. The effect of the question is to confirm or overrule the decision, and to lower the leadership and charisma of the defeated party by 10 per cent for the remainder of that day. If this takes the leader below any other party member, an automatic challenge by council of war will take place unless the deputy leader gives way (minus 10 per cent on leadership and charisma for the remainder of the day; then revert to ordinary leadership and increase original cha-risma by 1 point for the remainder of the adventure). A challenge will take 1 turn (20 minutes). A question will take 1/2 turn. How is experience rewarded in this game? So glad you asked. If it's for combat specifically the experience you gain is either the opponent's combat level multiplied by 100, or the "monster value" divided by your own combat level. For general adventuring experience, it's 100 minus your likelihood of success divided by 2. There is a lengthy footnote for "likelihood of success" that basically boils down to "you figure it out" with a strangely long aside about how you shouldn't award experience for picking up gold pieces.
