It really was a catch-22 situation. The major software houses ignored the #SAMCoupe, with 1990-91 being barren years software wise. Much more vibrant scene when I started with SAM in 1993 with so much software unique to the SAM. Good fun collaborating with other teams in the 90s. www.samcoupe.com

The "steam engine" analogy remains apt. Thought unloved and outdated at the time, but now supported by a thriving smaller community of dedicated preservationists and experts, providing interest and new developments for future generations while increasing in financial and historical value.
