So the outage was made even worse because several AWS servers rely on network load balancers, and those started deleting new EC2 instances because the network update service or whatever was super backed up for a very long time. Oh my god this is hilarious

And the rest of the blog post is them detailing how basically every single AWS service relies on Dynamo and if it ever goes down it causes cascading effects that makes things even worse
