Qualify and dedupe the requests by matching a hash of the content and origin identity from your intended sources. What is this tool, where do the pings come from? Surely you can ip black hole single actors

did you implement some kind of rate limiting by IPs? it's definitely handy, I have it for a few interactive widgets on my site
fwiw they stopped very shortly after I posted this. Have Cloudflare ever considered just asking people to stop DDoSing?
