(My “this is my day job” reply was in response to this guy saying to me “this is my day job” after I’d asked a bunch of questions about his diagnosis.)

I had a similar thing with a nurse about a year ago. I asked a question, she Googled and gave me the Gemini answer but at least she didn't stubbornly stick to it and found a more reliable source when I raised it as an issue.
"OK, what kind of discount are you offering now that I'm no longer paying for your expertise?"
I get it, he’s a professional and he’s likely read the chat and confirmed all of the details and this was just an easy way for him to share them with me. Still, it felt pretty grim to see that link pop up.
