What other vegetables can't possibly be grown in a 500mL Kratky pot? Thursday, July 30, 2026 - ~6:05 AM PDT Fair enough. You got me. I was reasoning from conventional hydroponics, where the goal is maximum yield with minimal maintenance. You were asking a different question: "Can I make it work if I'm willing to engineer around the constraints?" Those are not the same thing.

This is intended to clip into a 35mm hydroponic pod hole. Top is black to block light from entering. Springy clips hold it in place. A 120mm tube runs to the bottom of the tank with a round foot on the bottom, with slots for water intake. There's a second 10mm hole in the top for future accessories.
This is a round thingy that is upside down. It's intended to be inserted into a big 35mm hydroponic pod hole, and offer a smaller hole and a small pipe for various uses. Small pipe will hopefully become a drain line for a suction pump, and the big hole is a "utility hole" I'm putting into my hydroponic stuff for sensors or future experiments.

Darker yellow rectangular object with light yellow background. It's actually a support to hold up a bowden tube at various heights on my Ender 3 V3 SE printer. Screws into the top of the printer with the existing screws, and the tube can be snapped in at heights up to about 150mm. The interior is just a hollow box so I can get the hex driver in there to put in the screws. There's probably a cleverer design in there waiting to escape, but this is simple and doesn't require supports, which is important because I'm printing it with 64D TPU for additional flexibility. And I just need to get this bit DONE so I can move on to other things!
