hey! Thanks for reporting this back to us. Had you never used the VPN before? The fact that that checkbox is checked does not mean that your traffic is being redirected through a 3rd party, it just means the feature is enabled (as in "it can work"), but you would still need to log in etc.
@vivaldi.com Also - additional feedback. I find "Proton VPN for Vivaldi is ready to go out of the box. However, this is an opt-in feature and is not pre-installed" needlessly confusing. Features not pre-installed ard hardly "ready to go out of the box". That's just downright contradictory.
