ok so there's an old crib mattress on the ground, and a bean bag on that, and gym mats on the walls (so he can feel like he's in a padded cell? idk) and fairy lights all over, and a shelf full of comics, and this goofy-ass lightup bear that's part of me & the kid's ongoing tradition of finding the corniest Valentine's gifts for my wife, and a bunch of posters on the walls - free! Free posters! I don't know how that happened, he just came home from the comic shop with them. He's ten. Anyway it's cozy and awesome and every kid should have a reading nook they spend lots of time decorating and then realize it's stuffy in there and never actually hang out in it.
