And if you received this post via email, that’s because I migrated our email lists to Ghost. You may unsubscribe below. Until today, I posted almost exclusively on LinkedIn first. It never felt like the best place for it, but it was simply where most of my network was after I quit Twitter in 2022. I tried WordPress, which was what I ran in the early days of blogging, but it felt cumbersome to use and every bit as challenging to configure as it had been 20 years ago. Ghost is a dream. I spun up an account, read some blog posts and specs, gave up and fed them into Cursor, and had a functioning headless blog within minutes. From there, several hours of importing old posts, adding images, and tweaking the format ended with this post. I also consolidated all our email lists and will use this blog to share all our posts going forward. New posts will automatically go to Bluesky and Mastodon, and I’ll manually add them to LinkedIn. You may also notice the site is new. I’ll write more about that in the coming days, with some highlights on the things that are especially meaningful. This is by no means our desired end state, but it is a good marker of our current state. As always, more to come soon.
