I'm realizing now the reason boycotts "don't work" isn't that they're an ineffective form of protest, or that corporations are too big these days, or anything else. I'm not exactly trying to say "we are the problem" so much as "capitalism actively incentivises us to be the problem." The capitalist internet and isolationist society is the problem.
