Tet Parade during Lunar New Year. Westminster, CA. February 2018. This area represents the largest concentration of people with Vietnamese heritage in the U.S. outside Vietnam. Most of the community came as a result of the Vietnam War. #Photography #NewTopographics

My great uncle lives in Westminster and was a high school English teacher in the area during the 1970s. He talks about Vietnamese kids arriving in his class with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
