And what might be systematic about other mistakes such as the chronology of "standpoint theory"'s development (a work published in 1979 is attributed to the decade following, 1983), or that its roots were in Marxism (Where's the women's movement?), or that it is less used and interesting currently (speak for your own discipline, Susan; in sociology it flourishes), or that feminist standpoint theory has become identified with "object-relations" theory (news to me)."

Wir sind uns der Mehrfachbelastung von Eltern, die während ihres Studiums oder ihrer Promotionsphase Kinder zu betreuen haben, sehr bewusst. Daher legen wir sehr viel Wert darauf, die entstehenden Mehrfachbelastungen auszugleichen, damit man sich auf die Kinderbetreuung konzentrieren kann, ohne Studium oder Promotion aus den Augen zu verlieren. In den ersten sechs Wochen nach der Geburt gibt es für gewordene Mütter einen Mutterschutz. In der Promotionsförderung ist es möglich, eine Elternzeit von bis zu zwölf zusätzlichen Monaten gewährt zu bekommen.

A more violent example comes from another comedian, Hannah Gadsby. In her stand-up show Nanette, Gadsby describes being accosted by a man who was angry that she was talking to his girlfriend. The man then said that he had thought that Gadsby was 'a faggot, which is to say, a gay man. When he realised she was a woman, he backed off, saying that he did not hit women. (As Gadsby comments: what a charmer!) He then returned, however, saying, 'Oh no, I get it, youre a lady faggot, I'm allowed to beat the shit out of you. Gadsby continues: 'And he did. He beat the shit out of me, and nobody stopped him (Gadsby, Olb, and Parry 2018). The 'allowed here again seems to me deontic in character. It is not just that this man thought (correctly) that he could in prac- tice get away with assaulting Gadsby, given that she is a lesbian (an interper- sonal intersectional gender-sexuality kind); he also seems to have felt that he was socially entitled to do so-a perception that the inaction of the bystanders who witnessed the attack without intervening can only have served to confirm

[Screenshot von Zeit Online] Zusammenfassung: Prekäre Stellen in Forschung und Lehre, befristete Verträge. Ausführliches Problem: Menschen forschen und lehren in Deutschland auf prekären Stellen. Häufig laufen die befristeten Arbeitsverträge nur wenige Monate. Nur wenige Menschen haben die Chance auf eine entfristete Stelle, die in der Regel die Lebenszeitprofessur ist. Die Familiengründung wird dadurch häufig auf Mitte 40 verschoben. In der Zeit erfolgt auch viel zu häufig eine Karriereumorientierung, da die Zeit in der Akademie nach dem Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz abgelaufen ist. Obwohl Hochschulen und außeruniversitäre Forschungseinrichtungen genügend ausfinanzierte Haushaltsstellen haben, entfristen diese die Menschen auf diesen Stellen nicht. Lösungsideen für dieses Problem: Ich habe die Wissenschaft verlassen, um endlich eine unbefristete Stelle zu bekommen. Der Ausstieg lohnt sich.

Wir brauchen eine grundlegende Reform des Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetzes (WissZeitVG), einen bundesweiten Tarifvertrag für studentische Beschäftige (TVStud) und echte Mitbestimmungsrechte durch die Aufnahme studentischer Beschäftigter in die Personalvertretungsgesetze der Länder.
