Text is as follows: WHY US Gender-diverse BIPOC have been exploited by and excluded from scientific research, with our bodies seen as expendable and our experiences invalidated. There is a deep disconnect and distrust between our communities and researchers. SCI AIDE aims to rebuild trust to bridge gaps in knowledge, validate lived and historical experiences, and provide opportunities for folks to pave new paths towards what collaboration could look like.

Text is as follows: ABOUT US SCI AIDE is a new grassroots and community-led project that aims to make science easily understandable and available to enthusiasts and citizen scientists. We focus on historically marginalized and underserved communities who wish to learn more about the sciences, providing workshops as well as connections to mentors and opportunities they may not have known about otherwise. SCI AIDE aims to provide both programming and a network to people who have been historically excluded from scientific exploration, research, and opportunity.
