Breadth and Depth of Climate Education Efforts. Efforts to strengthen climate education are varied, have different levels of reach, and provide different depths of knowledge. Students who self-select as interested in climate change education (white figures) are engaged by every strategy, while students who do not self-select as interested in climate change education (blue figures) can be engaged through interdisciplinary climate education and general education requirements on climate change. The figures at each level are illustrative of the students reached by each strategy.
