The Ni was 26th new for garden for 2026 and 346th species of the year after the NFY Ancylosis oblitella
Tricho means hair(y), plusia means "rich", so this is kind of the rich, hairy ni moth!
Not a first for Cambs, although it must be a fairly recent arrival as there was no mention on the Cam Moths site until I| posted
I鈥檇 been wondering about the pronunciation of that鈥鈥檓 glad I鈥檓 right that it鈥檚 the same as those pesky shrubbery-loving knights. 馃槅
