Congressman Connolly... I recognize you have your hands full, particularly in your oversight role. But as a full member of the Fairfax Democratic Party, I have to say: it's not enough. Stop treating this like it's a political fight; it's not. This is a fight for our democracy against the GOP's fascist regime. They aren't your colleagues anymore; they're actively undermining the rule of law. We need citizen mobilization; we need active and visible action; we need real leadership in the real world. Stern words alone won't get this done. We can't fight a lawless enemy by more aggressively waiving Robert's Rules in the air. Your constituents need leadership - and protection - and that's not going to materialize without the visible appearance of non-traditional resistance. We're not frightened; we're angry. Don't leave us hanging. Lead or get out of the way.
