Also, let's be honest, after the Chibnell era, things could have gone a lot worse. Sure, some of the stuff wasn't the best, but those three Tenant and Tate episodes gave so many of us what we craved for so long. I also don't think the pressure of the Disney money actually helped.

For fuck's sake. You don't offer unasked for critique to any artist, ever. I *loathe* much of Davies' work but I'd never tag him into anything saying so, just out of basic politeness.
Like I hate to break it to nerd social media but none of y'all are informed, original, and insightful enough to bring any sort of worthwhile novel criticism to a television professional in his fucking Instagram comments. Let alone as a Monday morning quarterback.
