Picture is of an open sketchbook with the following drawing: A character with a large three-iris eye surrounded by rays for a head uses their six arms to hold and cut an invisible thread. The arms are pitch black and skeletal and the hands are shaded with gray with lined screentone. Six wings are arrayed behind them and they wear a shapeless flowing garment.
Three ink drawings: two are of an eyeball-headed character called Eyeball Kid who has four arms and spider legs. They are stretching one of their shoulders in both drawings. One is regular proportion, and also has a secondary arm holding a towel, and the second is chibi. The third drawing is of humanoid with a mass of tentacles sprouting out from a ribcage that is cracking open. The tentacles are more wiggly on top and more coiled and intestine-like on the bottom. A belt surrounds the bottom of the intestine-like tentacles and supports a skirt with more tentacles popping out of the bottom. The figure also has a tattered vest and human arms, which are very sketchy and not well-defined. This character is labeled LAWRENCE.
A creature with a humanoid-insect hybrid head and a human torso emerging from the front of a large beetle body walks through one of the archways into the center of a gothic cathedral style building. The style uses crosshatching for all of the shading.
Two mermaids: one many times larger and deep red, with the lower half of a jellyfish and a face full of protruding teeth; the other, smaller, with a bright yellow-and-blue striped tail, reaches out with both hands to hold one hand of the larger mermaid.
