As a developer, do you block engagement farmers? I wrote a Java program to pull tweets from the fastest growing accounts on Twitter before Elon changed the API pricing. The results were more than amusing. These engagement farmers will be here soon. Just wait.

Nice! Just to be clear: I actually don't mind people trying to build a business/growing a communitym, as long as it's a two-way street. But when it's a one-way street, it's a no-no from me.

I'm surprised it even works. The only use I can think of is advertising a product once you have enough followers acquired this way. I know following is easy, but it will also spam your timeline. I guess 🦋 isn't big enough for them yet to bother, hopefully that will last a while.
