Fantasia felt if parents could use the parking lot or the lane outside Roosevelt, traffic on Grafton Street would ease up. "I think it would take a lot of congestion off Grafton Street," Fantasia said. "Even if we could make a big loop, it would take 15 to 20 cars off Grafton Street." Fresolo said that was an issue he planned to address during the trial parking ban. "That needs to be addressed," Fresolo said. "Those 30-plus parking spots were designed solely to get cars off Grafton Street." During the trial ban, which could become permanent if successful, Fresolo said the city would work with school administration to ensure parents could get into the school's parking lot prior to 2 p.m. in order to take cars off the street.
