Oh absolutely! And if you smell very carefully, you will be overwhelmed with their scent.
They are having a record season this year. Hidden gem: returning from Vermont, this was the back of our hotel, Lancaster, New Hampshire. Mountains and fields of Lupines.
Along the North Shore Drive of Lake Superior, from Thunder Bay down towards Duluth, the ditches are frequently overflowing with Lupines, and we just totally fell in love with them on that drive...
So pretty!!! Are these lupines or something different? I saw them in Winnipeg last week & loved the colour.

Looks like the non-native. The large, vibrant lupines covering northern roadsides and meadows are actually non-native, introduced species (such as the Lupinus polyphyllus). The wild lupine is smaller and not as showy, but they support native insects such as the Karner Blue butterfly.
Is that Lupinus perennis? Very cool!
