We used to have a well, too, and I'm so sorry, can empathize. I'd keep at least six five-gallon jugs of water on hand in case the pump went out (happened every so often). Running water on demand is amazeballs. Hope yours gets fixed asap!

Gah! I had no water for a few days this winter. It sucks. The only good thing is I had tons of snow I could melt.
