I absolutely love this game. I experienced it by playing it with my kids when they were small. They adored it. They would spend hours interacting with the colorful kittens on "Kitty Island." When my son was a toddler learning to talk, "Bowser" and "Meow Bowser" were among his few words.
It’s perfect. My only gripe is in the post game you should have control over when Bowser shows up. You should be able to summon him or send him away more easily.
