𝐂𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 & 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐍𝐨. 𝟐 Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation and Mikisew Cree First Nation are issuing a second Cease and Desist to Danielle Smith and the Government of Alberta and urging reconsideration of the Separatist Actions. The Leaderships of the two Nations are calling for respect for the Treaty Relationship that allows all Albertans to live on Treaty Lands. The first Cease and Desist letter of April 30, 2025 remains unanswered and the GOA has doubled down by pushing Bill 54 through this evening May 14, 2025 to avoid the Treaty Nations and Rights Holders Peaceful Demonstration Opposing Alberta’s Separation scheduled for tomorrow May 15, 2025 at 2:30pm at the Alberta Legislature.
