SEIU 2015 stands in solidarity with the people of Iran and Iranian-Americans as they continue a noble fight for justice: standing for democracy in their homeland, freedom for women, religious freedoms — and standing against nearly 50 years of authoritarianism. We also condemn authoritarianism in the US: the Trump Administration's war on Iran is taking place without an act of Congress. It has already taken more than 1000 innocent lives and threatens to create yet another humanitarian crisis.
