Ebon Moss-Bachrach was born on March 19, 1977[1] in New York City,[2] His parents ran a music school in Springfield, Massachusetts. His middle name of "Che" was given to him by his parents after the famous Argentinian leader and revolutionary Che Guevara.[3] His father was born in Germany to Jewish-American parents.[4]
