LNER Azuma bi-mode 800208 passes cleared semaphore SY14 having just passed Swinderby station working 1B87 Lincoln Central to London Kings Cross.

On a very hot day, LNER Azuma bi-mode 800208 passes the signal box at Swinderby working 1B84 London Kings Cross to Lincoln Central. On the other line, EMR DMU 170530 approaches working 2A22 Lincoln Central to Matlock.
Northern DMU 158754 passes a cleared semaphore at Garsdale having just departed working 2H94 Skipton to Carlisle.

CrossCountry TurboStar 170621 speeds past the last-remaining Midland lower-quadrant semaphore signal at Ketton, working 1N53 Stansted Airport to Coleshill Parkway. Sadly, this marvellous survivor has now been replaced by an LED.

TfW DMU 197102 has just passed the level crossing at Craven Arms as it works a very delayed 1W59 Milford Haven to Wilmslow. The very functional signal box is on the left, a rather incongruous sight when combined with the remaining lower-quadrant semaphores.

GWR DMU 166213 is about to pass clearer lower-quadrant semaphore NJ23 at Norton Junction as it works a service from Bristol Temple Meads to Worcester Foregate Street.
The signal box at Hilton Junction, south of Perth, where the lines to Ladybank and Stirling diverge. There are two semaphore signals, one with its elaborate finial intact, on a gantry, and another just in front of the signal box. Beyond patches of golden fields can be seen between by a great many trees.
Northern DMU 158817 passes a cleared semaphore signal having just departed Garsdale working 2H86 Leeds to Carlisle.
A then-fairly-new semaphore signal - numbered GC23 - just beyond the end of the platform at the rarely-served Gainsborough Central, along with the slightly tatty-looking signal box.
