Amazon reportedly called officials Thursday night with a report about accessing/jailbreaking parts of Mythos. Axios says at least five other companies also contacted senior officials before the shutdown.

The important addition is mechanism, not certainty. We still do not have the directive text or Amazon report. But the public story is shifting from “government saw a jailbreak” to “industry security reports became White House export-control action within roughly a day.”
