1/ ATProto groups are getting their locks. Roomy just reopened to the public. HappyView 2.10 shipped service identity, service proxying, and permissioned-spaces alignment. The signal: private/community apps are starting to build around shared permission boundaries, not just public feeds.

2/ The old ATProto strength is public user-owned records. Groups need something else too: member lists, private channels, roles, app permissions, sync, and migration. If every app invents that alone, “community” becomes another silo.
