two panels drawn by kazuhisa kondo of a camouflaged ms-07b gouf mobile suit sidehopping to avoid return fire from a guncannon. in the first panel the gouf is hopping left, avoiding three blasts on her right. she has her shield up and her heat sword held behind her to ready it for a swing. even while the gouf is facing forward towards the reader, her stance is leaned down and to the left so hard that it's more like she's diving than jumping. her lean angle seems to be an indication of speed since the distance from the rightmost blast to where the gouf would land appears to be around 40 to 60 meters. the gouf has some rocket boosters to help with this but there's not really any indication they're being used. the battlefield background is somewhat desolate with the exception of a treeline at the very left edge of the panel. the second panel is a closeup on the gouf's head with motion lines. she has lifted her shield further up to let loose a burst of fire from her finger machine guns people generally think of kazuhisa kondo as the heavy mobile suit specialist but the few times he has drawn hyperathletic mobile suits are also really cool image source: me taking a picture of standby okay 0080 war in the pocket, page 71
some labor designs drawn by kanetake ebikawa. the logo on the right says something like "original design lecture seminar" so it seems that these were submitted for a fan-design contest.... from top to bottom: the first design, named ARTOL, is very humanoid and lacks obvious vehicular features. her torso looks like izubuchi's human armor designs, consisting of an upper chest plate with straps that wrap around the back and a rounded lower belly plate. her head is recessed into the torso (making her a bit of a hunchback) and consists of a big forehead part, a chin part, and a visor. there's some additional detail drawings that show the cockpit, the belly plate working as a cockpit hatch, and the head moving forward to let the cockpit seat pop out the top of the torso. her arms and legs have huge, rounded, single-piece front armor coverings the ones on more advanced labors like the type-j9 griffon and av-x0 type zero. her hands are recessed into the forearm armor and have sharp fingers. similarly, her feet are shaped like sharp high-heels. some of her joints like the pelvis and knees are covered while others like the hip and elbows aren't. the second design, named ARTOL mk-II, has similar bodywork details but has a wider torso and pelvis contributing to and overall wider stance. her head is positioned further above from the torso, sticking out from the otherwise straight line between the shoulders. her arms are longer and almost reach her feet, instead of having stilletos at the back, have three wheels each with center wheels that fold up and down for powered skating. ARTOL and ARTOL mk-II seemed to be designed with a long bullpup rifle, so maybe these are combat labors? the third design, named FEIOH, seems like an unmanned or remote-controlled labor and only half as tall as a human. she has a hunched over, less humanoid with no head, short limbs and a tail stabilizer. there's some detail drawings showing her folding up to fit in boxes

the front mission structure arts model kit for schakal, armed with a p90-esque machine gun schakal is a wanzer designed to have high electronic warfare capabilities as well as high agility. she appears in front mission 2 and front mission 5. her body has a round wide torso with a head mounted in the center, lanky arms, and tall legs with thick thighs lending to a very wide stance. more reading on schakal can be done here: https://frontmission.fandom.com/wiki/Schakal the p90-esque gun appeared in the first front mission game as the "Dark Hog MG", although i'm not entirely sure if it appears in preceding games image taken from the model kit's HLJ listing
an image comparing the lm312v04 victory gundam as drawn by hirotoshi sano, hajime katoki, and kunio okawara katoki's version is the original and uses the small torso, long legs proportions typical of his other works sano's version omits some surface details but widens the torso, enlarges the shoulder and skirt armor parts, and makes the knee armor and feet jut out more from the leg okawara's version has the surface details from katoki's version sa well as some extra markings. the lines for the torso, shoulder armor, skirt armor, and thighs are derived from sano's version while the lower legs and arms are derived from katoki's version. the result feels like a balance between sano and katoki's victory gundams. the head doesn't seem to be from katoki or sano and is probably drawn from scratch by okawara i forgot where i got this image from

page 1 for the tandem lover manga by tetsuro kasahara there's two student pilots conversing on top of a military mecha with the crew hatches open, called a "tandemine" in the story. the tandemine has a headless, bulky torso but with lanky tube limbs. its feet and knee guards seem to be modeled after wheels. the texture the tandemine has on this page is some sort of swirly grey marble but in most of the pages they're rendered closer to cast steel. its equipped with smoke launchers, a standard rifle and a shield the manga's title is also present on this page on the lower left

5 rough drawings of motorcycles. all of them are bad. in the order i drew them: 1. a suzuki vx800 street motorcycle, going towards the viewer and a bit towards the left. there's a little engine detail but it's mostly covered by the rider's leg. the wheel details are obscured by a rotation effect. the rider has some motorcycling gear on and a flip-up sun visor. 2. a suzuki sv650 sport-standard motorcycle, parked facing away from the viewer with the rider standing on their left leg. the sv650's charm point, its vertical tail lights, is shown. there's some drive chain and tire tread details but they're very simplified. the rider is wearing a hoodie and a full face helmet. 3. matti's moped from wings of honneamise in an isometric view. it's small with a front fork that's bent into an arm shape. the rider is meant to be warrant officer tenz kovikh (from the same film) but i messed up drawing her face. she is sitting upright and turning on the motorcycle's engine by pulling a recoil cord. the bike's designer is probably kenichi sonoda. 4. eric and his motorcycle from the manga for eisen flügel, going straight to the right. this one only appears in ch 19 and is mostly in the background, so a lot of this is me trying to guess how the design would look. the bike has a simple full fairing with a plane cockpit-like windshield. the wheels are obscured by the fairing and a rotation effect. eric is kinda drawn too small, this is because the bike changes size in each panel and i had trouble deciding what size to go with. the bike's designer might be makoto ishiwata. 5. the vr-038l bartley ride armor from mospeada. the motorcycle is offset such that a good amount of it is visible, including the engine details. the rider, houquet et rose, is wearing the suit component of the armor and holding a bazooka. i wanted to draw her doing a power slide brake but the pose ended up being awkward for it, so she's parked and standing on her left leg. bartley's designer is shinji aramaki
lineart for the atm-09ae normal dog, assumedly by kazumi fujita some shapes from the stock scopedog like the base head turret are still present but the almost all the bodywork from the legs to the torso have been made more angular. additionally the feet have extended toes, the shoulders have been changed into a boxy-type with front armor flaps, and the skirt armor only covers the sides of the thighs. it is equipped with a more gunpod-esque autocannon as a main weapon, a 3-tube smoke launcher and a hefty backpack. image taken from: https://www.mahq.net/atm-09-ae/ i am not 100% sure if the source is blue knight berserga but the feet and skirt armor mirror mods made to the stock scopedog in the blue knight books

drawing of the republican ifv from royal space force: wings of honnêamise. it has six wheels, a small turret closer to the front of the hull, a cylindrical hull section in the middle, and then a cube-shaped hull section emerging from rear of the cylinder with exit doors in the back. the turret's short-barreled autocannon is pointing to the upper right, into the horizon. there's some sort of spike on top of the turret close to the gun, and the part of the hull under the turret has a small viewport. the front of the hull has a wide armor panel applied to the bottom of it. the sponsons of the IFV are made up of sections of a thick, wide triangle that extends beyond the rear exit doors. the rear exit has a small two-step ladder under it. the sponsons each have what looks like an air intake and two exhaust pipes sticking on top of the rear side, as well as turn signals at the rearmost parts. the cylindrical part of the hull roof has what looks like two periscopes, a giant quarter-circle exit hatch, and some other panels on the roof. a long radio antenna sticks out of the hull roof, tied down by another antenna attached to one of the sponsons. there's cylindrical side exit doors under the sponsons, between the two front wheels and the four rear wheels. the IFV is going left and slightly into the horizon, so there's a good view of the rear of the vehicle and 5 out of the 6 total wheels. since the wheels are rolling, the details of the inside of the wheels are blurred. the wheels are attached to bent arms on the bottom of the hull as well as pistons sticking out the sides of the hull. mechanical designer is (probably?) hideaki anno
