Tens of thousands of World Cup fans used public transit to leave Santa Clara after Tuesday's late-night match. Thirty minutes after the match ended at 11:08 p.m., the lines stretched down Tasman Drive coming toward the Lick Mill station.

By 12:30 a.m., the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority had the entire crowd boarded onto trains and on their way home, and was already breaking down its setup.
