I post my mini painting, WIPs, older projects, etc. US painter, mostly into DnD, RuneQuest, Pathfinder & other RPGs. Returning to painting after a hobby hibernation of ~25 years. I support full inclusion. He/him

Six metal minis from an unknown company: a monster crawling out of the ground, a female warrior with sword, a wizard with a wind swept beard, a painted metal figure with a chipped nose, and two male warriors each with a sword.
Three metal miniatures — what seem to be a worm of some sort (perhaps a purple worm), a werewolf holding a femur (or some kind of lycanthrope), and a large centaur holding a bow (which is primed and partially painted).

Fully painted Caucasian ogre on a small hill looking down on a desert scape or dried riverbed. He’s looking menacing, with a club resting on one shoulder, armor on his other shoulder and waist, a copper bracer, loincloth, and leather leg wraps. The landscape is adorned with details like grass, tufts, flowers, dead leaves, vines, other foliage, and a human skull. Front view. He’s painted using a Zorn limited palette, inspired by John Blanche. The paints used were all Golden heavy body acrylics and the colors were titanium white, yellow ochre, cadmium red light, and bone black. Because there is no blue in this palette, artworks using it tend to have rich skin tones, browns, reds, oranges, and white and black tones, along with desaturated greens from a mix of yellow ochre and black.

A semi-painted 2” diameter base. Cork provides height to mimic a cliff face, and there are rocks and a skull in the riverbed below.

They are are combined in different ways to see the possible color combinations. Besides the colors themselves, this palette creates Caucasian skin tones, greens, and browns.

This is from a masterclass I took. The shadow line on the right hand is a darker version of the green. It’s a little heavy handed but it seems to work. In hindsight, matching up where it get darker and stops could have been better lined up by his elbow, but live and learn.
