The cutest dog in the world is wrapped in a thick, textured fleece blanket, which is red, pink, and white and wound around her head in such a way that it looks like three big fleece petals, one of each color. Her cute lil deer-shaped brown head is all you can see of her, and she is so swaddled that her head takes up like the center 1/9th of the photo and the rest is all blanket.

A 6 second video focused on a willow (I think) tree, leaves yellowed by autumn, undulating vigorously and mesmerizing in an unusually strong and sustained wind for New York. It’s across a small strip of pond from where I’m filming, with a branch of a long needled evergreen of some kind that I should really be able to identify poking in to the frame and waving in the same wind in its own bouncy pattern. The sun is forcing its way through shapely gray clouds. A lone mallard can be spotted making its way against the wind-roughened water. By chance the video catches him almost exactly in the time it takes him to cross from the left of the frame to the end of the visible water, just before a clump of various autumnal shoreline brush blocks it. It’s possible a frequent visitor to this part of the park would recognize this was taken at Prospect Park pond.
