Flaky sea salt topped, dark chocolate chunk cookies - 1/2 cup (112g) white sugar - 3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp (200g) packaged brown sugar - 1/2 cup (112g) unsalted butter, melted - 1/2 teaspoon (3g) kosher salt - 1 whole egg - 1 egg yolk - 2 tsp (6g) vanilla extract - 1 1/2 cups (200g) all purpose flour - 1/2 tsp (4g) baking soda - 7 ounces dark chocolate (60-70% cacao) # Steps In a large bowl combine sugars and melted butter until combined, then add in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla, making sure everything is fully incorporated, set aside. In a second bowl add flour, baking soda, salt and a teaspoon of cinnamon, then whisk all dry ingredients until fully combined, at least 20 seconds. Slowly add in 1/3 at a time the dry ingredients into the wet until they are fully integrated, then add in the chocolate chips or other things you would like to add to the cookies. Refrigerate for at least 30 min. Preheat oven to 350. Place on tray with parchment paper and bake for 16 min and let cool.
