NextDoor post reading: Sorry, but a list of salaries without anything to which to compare it is useless. What does the fire chief in SF make including benefits, overtime, etc.? Oakland? Berkeley? Daly City? Seriously, I'm not saying we're not paying an awful lot for our services. I'm saying we need to know whether or not we're paying more than other medium to large cities in the area. Nextdoor post replying to above: [NAME REMOVED], for a City the size of SSF, hardly ANY fires are put out., mostly paramedic calls, it is a complete waste of tax dollars to have an idle expensive fire station open just to appease somebody. From the replies to a post where a conspiracy theorist NIMBY is complainging about why the city is taking so long to respond to her FOIA requests for all the city staffs' credit card receipts.
At this time, we have not found the right party to take the reins of ESC and we are still accepting letters of interest.
