Friday a United gate attendant forcibly scanned my face instead of my boarding pass when I explicitly asked to opt out of my biometrics being collected. I made a complaint and 3 days later I noticed gates were back to scanning boarding passes when flying through the same terminal. Then this today

I believe people should consent to their biometrics being collected and that they need to be aware of the privacy policy of any corporation requesting such information. You should know how long and where the information is stored, as well as whether it could ever be sold or shared.
