Stain took a sip from his tea, placed it down, then stared into the swirling steaming liquid for a heartbeat before talking. “Toshinori, you don't need to feign interest in my space. I'm not going to kill you over something you've said. I'm not going to kill you no matter what you might do or say to me.” There was a mixture of emotions playing on his face again while his tone held a note of pain mixed with sincerity. The villain started on his own food, pouring some maple syrup over the waffles then quietly offering the sticky sweet liquid to Toshinori. “I think we're both capable of handling more in depth conversations than simple small talk, hero. I'm sure there's questions you wish to ask or perhaps remarks you'd like to share to express your disdain for me.” At any point now he expected the hero to yell at him, to give into the same hatred of his very existence just like others had done in the past. Surely it was only a matter of time. The fate of Chizome's blackened heart, balanced precariously on the tip of a knife, and neither of them knew if it could still be saved.

You smiled in the face of indignities and danger, you saved people because it was the right thing to do not because of fame or other fleeting self indulgent means. You're a true hero, All Might and I just want society to hold other heroes to the same standards as you held yourself." "The real delusion, is thinking that this society has any room for people like me to lead a normal life without being forced to play the villain!” Stain aggressively shoved Toshinori and stood up, a pained expression mixed with annoyance sat on the villain’s face now as he tore his attention away from the hero.
