I wanted to create something nostalgic that ties into the cozy vibes of the holiday season, so here's Ur 1st PC — a vintage-style computer inspired by the early 2000s. 🎄💾 🔗 Get it for free on my Patreon! www.patreon.com/posts/ur-1st... #TheSims4 #s4cc

J0hnnieFive · Dec 3

Cheryl Kuhnert · Dec 3

Old Rotten Lady · Dec 3

ex elle dee kay ex · Dec 2

@stuartlynne.bsky.social · Dec 3

Rick Methven🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇸🇪🇪🇺 · Dec 3

I had a HP45 with dual 8in floppy drives in 1982 and got my first DOS PC in 1986 .. an Amstrad CPC. After that I built my own upgrading motherboard as technology advanced into the mid 2000,s

Dennie · Dec 3

Omg been there haha, this is amazing 😃

Melissa Nymeros · Dec 2

I just heard the AOL dial up noise looking at this 😂

Mr. Z · Dec 3

Steve Ellis · Dec 2

A little earlier for me - the Sinclair zx80

Neci · Dec 3

I love thisss, those speakers used to be in every clasroom 😭😭😭

Lowkey · Dec 3

The first one I had was like a mish mash of parts my dad took from his work. The first one I bought myself was a Dell E521. It had all kinds of nasty plastic covers inside to keep people from modifying it. Really pissed me off but it ran well for quite a long time. Was running when I got rid of it.

Gaming mom · Dec 2

omg brings back so many memories of playing petz and sims

Guybrush Threepwood · Dec 3

On my first computer, a mouse was a very expensive optional peripheral. 😶

@tb10.bsky.social · Dec 3

I have that exact same PC on Windows 95 on a shelf in my basement. Still boots and works. Even a serial modem inside!

Eddie · Dec 2

This is so good. The speakers are spot on.

Pissed-Off Scientist · Dec 3

Bro ... "early 2000s" was yesterday. I had two MITS Altair 8080 systems with ADM 3A dumb terminals and DEC LA36 printers. Ran a bookkeeping business on them in 1976.

SunmerTimeTV · Dec 3

Adorable!

@wjrasmussen.bsky.social · Dec 3

You'd have to go back to the 70s for my first computer.

🍨Ice-Cream For Breakfast🍨 · Dec 3

My old lady ass is feeling very attacked right now lol. Except my first computer only had one CD drive. It did have two hard drives though...both 1/2gb. I would uninstall one game to play another 👵🏻 (but seriously, this is so well done)

Jo Mc · Dec 2

Ha! Only posh kids had proper speakers. The rest of us just ran it through our stereo.

@deeners.bsky.social · Dec 2

Oh that’s awesome. The speakers are a perfect touch!

Justazero · Dec 3

Well, after I built my 1st Altair then the XT I bought, finally an IBM knockoff, ASR(maybe?), used the same 70 frickin lb monitor 😂

Paras Bansal · Dec 3

This is terrifingly accurate. 😳

Cameron · Dec 3

I kinda' miss sad beige computers not gonna' lie.

Edlim 🏡 · Dec 3

goodboyjojo · Dec 3

My first computer was a windows 98 computer my dad owned

FourShiggity · Dec 3

That is eerie. I had some serious memories resurface when I saw it.

Jayne Fury (RainyJaynie) · Dec 2

My first PC was a mac classic. Can you make one of those?

Nicole Calliope · Dec 3

Does it make "the sound" when your Sim gets a text message? Lol

@digitalavatar.bsky.social · Dec 3

Personal Computer Computer. This hurt. But really, I'm feeling the nostalgia.

Jared Peters · Dec 2

The little speakers are 🤌🤌

Puck · Dec 2

This rally is my first computer 😭😭😭

olivia · Dec 3

Pixel Sims 🏳️‍🌈 · Dec 2

Love this! I just need to find an old school 2000’s desk to go with it 😉

That’s WAY better than my first computer, lol… and way newer too. #OldTechie

WalkTheEarth · Dec 3

I really want to turn this into a real computer.

Liz R · Dec 3

My first PC was a 38-pound Compaq "luggable" with two floppy disk drives and a 9" screen. Yeah I was thrilled to leave DOS behind and boot up the smilin' face of a 512k Mac in 1985.

Paranormal Pterodactyl · Dec 3

The speakers and the floppy disk ports 😭 I love this 💖

Duncansim · Dec 2

This is awesome! Thank you!

Mar⁷ · Dec 3

Like even the speakers are accurate 😭 so nostalgic all of a sudden

🎮Massilia🧶 · Dec 4

Oh boy ! That reminds me so much memories. And I wonder why but they all concern a certain game...

Illuminostro · Dec 3

Please, I wouldn't look twice at that pedestrian rig. My first computer was a Packard Hell. It smelled like peasants.

@paburnham.bsky.social · Dec 2

That really is my first computer

Mayor of Whoville · Dec 2

Fallin4fiction · Dec 2

Can’t wait to leave this to my sim’s kids as an heirloom. 😌

mrsr99tso · Dec 3

Very creative. I love it!

@thomaserb.bsky.social · Dec 3

Sorry not at PDP-8 with a paper tape reader. That you had to boot with toggle switched loaded bootstrap.
