Viewing levels at the Royal Opera House. We are at the bottom so it’s quite a sight seeing gilded decoration stacked in front of us.

Lots of flowers, mainly different pinks. A great variety, some a bit startling. I’d say pungent but it’s not a visual word! English herbaceous border style.

Sunny day in Cornwall near St Just. Botallack is where the tin mine buildings are perched on rocky cliffs. The mines extend under the sea which looks very rough even on a placid day. The remaining shells of the old buildings are very lively
