It's colour coded to show the temperature increase in celcius. An area including the South East, and running up through Bedfordshire and up past The Wash shows as having a 4.5°C+ increase in highest max temp.Around that band, extending up through Lincolnshire is over 4°C. It drops to around 3°C across much of Western England and Norfolk. And around 2°C in Wales, much of Conwall and Devon, and Scotland.

In the early years, cashflow is outwards, but then thanks to electrification making things so much more efficient (avoiding all that lost heat), it starts paying for itself about halfway to net zero. Once we get to a zero carbon economy, the CCC forecast savings to the UK as a whole of almost £40 billion every year, and rising. The total outlay needed before electrification starts paying for itself is £319 billion. For perspective, that's around 40% of the wealth of UK richest 350 families. UK also spent between £310 and 410 billion on covid measures. Most ordinary people can't afford heat pumps and insulation, but the county absolutely can.
